Getting Started
Step 1. Your team lead will send you an email invite to join your team's workspace on ClickUp.
Step 2. Create your ClickUp account. Note that you don't have to put your real name in "Full Name." Feel free to put in your cool online screen name.
Step 3. Confirm the workspace that you want to join and choose a theme color (you can change this later).
Step 4. It is mandatory that you ignore the silly video.
Step 5. You're in! Close the "Getting started" tutorial in the bottom left corner. I recommend clicking and dragging the sidebar out so you can see it better.
Step 6. Every team's ClickUp workspace is a little different, so this is where our guide ends. On the left sidebar, you'll probably see a board with tasks in it. This is where the work happens. Ask your teammates for help if you get lost!
Changing to Dark Mode
The important stuff. Click on your user icon in the top right, then choose "Themes."
Choose dark mode. You can change your theme color here, too.
Changing your notification settings
By default, ClickUp assumes you derive pleasure from notifications. To fix, click on your user icon in the top right, then choose "Notification settings."
Go through the settings and feel free to turn off anything that feels unnecessary. So long as we can reach you when we need to, you're good.
