Most cantons have their own unique ceiling tile to be used in the waistworks main hall and all plaza level interiors. Anything outside of these places should be using the basic, standard ceiling tiles on the base tileset. Ceiling tile categories are as follows:
Purple tiles = telvanni canton
Red tiles = redoran canton
Green tiles = temple canton
Brown tiles = st. olms, st. delyn, foreign, arena cantons
Yellow tiles = hlaalu canton
base, standard tiles = all canalworks and most waistworks level homes
We should be viewing Vivec City as a class based area, meaning that some people are more well off than others. This should be reflected by their living arrangements.
Canal level: Lower class area. These homes should be small, cramped spaces. No fancy decor like platforms or multiple stories. Should be using lower class furniture. Tileset should be using the standard ceiling, no fancy mosaic or coloured tiles. They also arent always overly dirty because they are lower class, thats a human behaviour, not a class thing. General asset usage should portray their wealth, i.e. wooden bowls
Waist level: Middle class area. These homes are more spacious, and, depending on the canton layout, they could have 2 stories. Should be using middle class furniture. For homes and shops, the tileset should be using the standard ceiling, no fancy mosaic or coloured tiles. For waistworks proper, the main halls, they can use the fancy ceiling tiles related to that specific canton. General asset usage should portray their wealth, i.e. redware bowls
Plaza level: Upper class area. Homes here are fancy, multiple stories depending on exterior/canton layout. They use fancy ceiling tiling in their homes related to the canton they are on. The trim on the walls of homes use the mosaic pattern variant. Should be using upper class furniture. General asset usage should portray their wealth, i.e. silver bowls
